xx - Losito e Guarini

Losito e Guarini has reached a new milestone in its sustainable growth journey. The winery has achieved the Equalitas certification, one of the most prestigious standards for sustainability in the wine sector, which provides an integrated assessment of a company’s environmental, social, and economic performance.

This recognition follows a structured path initiated in 2024 and formalized through the drafting of the Sustainability Report according to Equalitas standards. This step marks the beginning of a phase of conscious growth, focused on continuous improvement and transparent measurement of performance. For Losito e Guarini, sustainability is a concrete, integrated process involving the entire supply chain: from monitoring energy and water consumption to waste reduction, and from responsible waste management to the qualified selection of partners and suppliers.

Investments and Innovation

Particular attention is paid to packaging, with solutions designed for efficiency and reduced environmental impact, as well as the mindful use of water resources through rigorous monitoring and optimization. In 2024, the company invested nearly 1 million euros in projects related to energy efficiency, environmental impact reduction, and the strengthening of social responsibility. Furthermore, Losito e Guarini promotes production practices aligned with major industry certifications, including organic and vegan, aiming to reinterpret Italian winemaking tradition through a contemporary lens that meets the ethical and dietary needs of international consumers.

The Value of People

Beyond environmental and production aspects, Equalitas places significant value on the social dimension of the enterprise. Losito e Guarini currently employs 61 people across various operational sites, fostering an inclusive work environment where different professional skills, ages, and backgrounds coexist. The company promotes continuous training and internal engagement initiatives designed to strengthen expertise, resource awareness, and the building of a cohesive, collaborative team.

"Achieving the Equalitas certification is a source of great pride for us and, at the same time, a commitment to the future," comments Davide Guarini. "The journey started in 2024 with the Sustainability Report has allowed us to structure and measure actions concerning the environment, processes, and, above all, people. Investing in sustainability means paying attention to resources, to the partners we collaborate with, and to the well-being of our employees. The presence of diverse professionals and generations within the company is an asset we want to enhance every day through training and initiatives that foster a close-knit and conscious work group."

With the Equalitas certification, Losito e Guarini strengthens its position in both domestic and international markets as a reliable partner, capable of combining winemaking tradition, technological innovation, and human capital within a sustainable, long-term vision.
