Losito and Guarini: a story between Oltrepò Pavese and Puglia

Losito and Guarini: a story between Oltrepò Pavese and Puglia - Losito e Guarini

The centuries-old history of the Losito e Guarini company has allowed it to be, today, the leader in Italy in the production of Bonarda dell'Oltrepò Pavese and to be recognised internationally for its brands.

Le Cascine, Lebollé, C'era una Volta and Guarini, these are the names of the company's collections, a marvellous selection of the vines of the Oltrepò Pavese and Puglia.

Apulia and Lombardy, therefore, because these are the two regions at the origins of the Guarini family, today at the head of the company in the persons of the two brothers, Davide and Renato Guarini, and their mother Luisa Losito.

At the basis of their success, in addition to a past rich in history, made up of sacrifices and hard work, is the integration with the agricultural supply chain, which has always been the company's strong point, and which has enabled them to consolidate lasting partnerships and develop special projects with the most important Italian and international retailers.

Such considerable collaborations constantly require very high standards and quality certifications, which Losito e Guarini has obtained in large numbers, demonstrating the high professionalism, commitment and passion of its oenologists and all its collaborators.

The numerous medals obtained, both nationally and internationally, are just one of the recognitions of the excellence of these wines. To name but one, the award as the third best red wine in Italy obtained by Negramaro Primitivo ‘"Bollato" IGT in 2019 by Luca Maroni.

The highest expression of the identity of the region, the typicality of the vines, and the careful selection of the finest grapes can be found in the Guarini collection, dedicated to Apulia. Here, these grapes grow in a landscape characterised by immense expanses of vineyards and reap all the benefits of the sea breezes and warmth of southern Italy.

It is enough to taste a glass of Primitivo di Manduria DOC  "Luigi Guarini" to be immediately projected into the excellence of Apulian wines, and just one sip is enough to understand the care and passion that the producers and selectors of this wine put into their work on a daily basis.
